Themes and panoramic hiking paths or the 'Slide Path' in the Wildkogel Arena are suitable for leisurely hikes. Experienced hikers can scale one of more than 100 three-thousand metre mountains in the National Park or enjoy a high mountain hike with via ferrata routes. Meanwhile climbers will of course come across countless climbing walls of all difficulty levels in this region, via which they can tackle the summits. Hikers and climbers will always find a suitable tour in the Zillertal Arena, the Wildkogel Arena and the National Park.

In Wald and the surrounding region, road bike riders, mountain bikers and E-bikers can enjoy countless bike paths, mountain bike trails and lines. This means you can head out on easy, straightforward bike tours in the valley. The famous Tauern Cycle Trail is particularly worthy of mention. You can tackle the return section by bike or use the Pinzgaubahn, a narrow-gauge railway with steam locomotive – an experience for all ages.

Should you prefer to cycle on Alpine pastures and mountains, you can use your mountain bike or your E-bike on the countless forest trails and cycle trails. Then you can really indulge in the managed Alpine lodges with some cool drinks and regional treats.
